2024 Barbara Ross Kornegay Scholarship Application

    The University of Mount Olive is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to UMO students planning to pursue careers in agriculture. Eligible applicants should have at minimum a 3.0 GPA, be pursuing a degree in agriculture, and be actively involved in FFA or CFFA.

    Applicants will be interviewed by a scholarship committee to assist in the determination of the award. The Barbara Ross Kornegay Scholarship is available to incoming UMO freshmen only.

You authorize the release of academic transcripts by the UMO Registrar to appropriate scholarship selection committees.

    Additionally, since these are Foundation scholarships, your submission indicates your understanding that the donor of the scholarship and Foundation staff may review any of the above mentioned information. It is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient to complete a FAFSA for any awarded scholarship to be paid.
